And now it is getting even worse. Posts from brand pages can be seen by only less than 10% of the brand’s total audience. This is obviously a problem, which is why Facebook itself proposed a solution. Pay Facebook and it shall make your posts available to a bigger audience. Now Facebook is on the move to rip some wallets. While this condition is alright to a few business owners, many are in misery and not willing to ride on. There are even brand owners who chose to close their Facebook page and leave the platform. Should you do the same, consider the following.

Count on the existence of recurring purchases. The presence of regular customers who buy more may tighten your bond with Facebook. However, if you find your business in a state wherein you have to find new customers, then leaving Facebook would be a great idea. It is always more affordable and beneficial to sell more to current customers than to look for new buyers.

Your collection of other contact information of your followers on Facebook may also give you a reason to keep your brand page. Such information will allow you to reach your current and potential customers in some ways other than Facebook. Investing in gaining more followers will grow your list of contact details.
